2015 Fordland Care to Learn 5K Results

Fordland, MO - Saturday, September 19, 2015 was the Annual Fordland Care to Learn 5K at Fordland City Park.  The days festivities featured a 5K run, CTL Logoa dunk tank, live auction, turtle races, games and a tasty pancake breakfast from 6:30-9:30 a.m., provided by the Fordland United Methodist Church at the elementary school. Vendors and booths are also set up throughout the day for people to enjoy.

All proceeds will go to the Fordland Care to Learn chapter, which meets health, hunger and hygiene needs for children. Last year’s event brought in over $10,426, the organization’s profit was $8,374.

Hollister, MO - Thursday, September 17, 2015 was the Hollister Invitational Cross Country Meet for High School & Junior High teams.  Over 230 kids from 11 different schools cross country logowere in attendance: Hollister, Spokane, Sparta, Chadwick, Reeds Spring, Summit Prep, Logan-Rogersville, School of the Ozarks, Cassville, Galena & Fair Grove.

3rd Annual Azalea Run Results

We were joined by over 500 runners & walkers at the 3rd Annual Azalea Half Marathon, 10K & 5K at the Gardens at Woodfield in Nixa, MO. Gardens at Woodfield Participants enjoyed a beautiful day with cool temps, a challenging course and pancakes!  Bounce houses were available for the kids, plus a few vendors & great music.

Springfield, MO - Saturday, August 22, 2015 was the Habitat Home Run 5K, 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run at Price Cutter on West Republic Road.  After the thumb home run 3race, runners, friends & family enjoyed the after party & Springfield’s Largest Water Balloon Fight which included live music, blasting fire hoses, face painting, dancing, water slides, cold refreshments, an ice cream social station, inflatables, and of course, Springfield’s Largest Water Balloon Fight!

2015 Harder than Hell Half Marathon Results

Springfield, MO - Saturday, August 15, 2015 was the Annual Harder than Hell Half Marathon.  Participants ran through a beautiful country setting beginning at Two Rivers Bike Park. It winds along the countryside through Shelvin rock before finishing at the bridge on Big Bend . Rolling hills and evening temperatures made this a fun and challenging half marathon.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, which is a progressive neurodegen-erative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Voluntary muscle action is progressively affected when motor neuron cells die, and patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed. Yet, through it all, most people's minds remain unaffected. Life expectancy for most people with ALS is usually two to five years following diagnosis, but with recent advances in research and improved medical care, many patients are living longer, more productive lives. As many as 30,000 Americans may be currently affected by ALS, and there is no known cause and no cure for ALS.
