City Utilities Springfield, MO

The Halloween Hustle is a local race presented by City Utilities with 100% of proceeds benefiting a local charity—Harmony House. The race starts and ends at City Utilities’ main office, 301 East Central Street. This relatively flat race route winds through historic mid-town Springfield. Expect no tricks, but lots of treats at the Halloween Hustle—with candy for your little ghosts and goblins on every corner. An event for kids of all ages—runners are encouraged get in the holiday spirit and wear their Halloween costumes. As one of the longest running 5k’s in the Springfield community, this has become a Halloween tradition for many families year after year.

The Halloween Hustle benefits Harmony House—Springfield’s only domestic violence shelter. Every penny raised from the Halloween Hustle will support Harmony House and the work they do every day providing shelter, advocacy, and education to survivors of domestic abuse. When you take part in the Halloween Hustle, you are helping Harmony House provide a safe, warm place for local survivors of domestic abuse and their children. Your involvement gives a survivor a chance to escape abuse and access to resources such as food, clothing, court advocacy, life skills classes and more. Your donation stays local and helps Harmony House continue to provide these much-needed services in our community. Help us make a difference!

    ActNow Promotions Waiver: I understand running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am physically fit, mentally able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of the race officials relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify I am in good health and properly trained to run the distance of this race. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, all risks being known and being appreciated by me. I understand my entry fee is non-refundable. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and considering your accepting my entry into this running event, I, for myself and my estate, heirs, survivors, descendants and anyone on whose behalf I may act (including all minor children and charges and their estates heirs and survivors), do hereby permanently and forever completely give up, surrender, waive, release and terminate any and all claims or liabilities of any kind, arising in tort, contract or otherwise, against ActNow Promotions/Racing, and their respective officials, directors, trustees, agents, volunteers, employees, sponsors and affiliates arising from my participation in this event, including but not limited to claims arising out of past or future negligence or carelessness on their part. I hereby consent to the use of image in photographs, videos and other recordings for promotional purposes.Registration fees are nonrefundable.Not responsible for the transmission or infection of Covid-19 or any other virus.

    Entry Fee through October 13th: $10 5K children 12 and under; $25 5K adults; $30 10K adults

    Entry Fee after October 13th: $15 5K children 12 and under; $30 5K adults; $35 10K adults

    All participants will receive an official Halloween Hustle t-shirt

    Packet pick-up will be held at the City Utilities Training Center, 301 E. Central on Friday, October 25th from 7am to 6pm. Participants may register at this time if they have not done so already.

    Race day registration will take place from 8am to 8:45am at the City Utilities Training Center.
