Join us for a trail run in the Mark Twain National Forest near Brown Branch, MO!  Like race swag & food?  Register for the Glade Top Trail run and get an event shirt, glade top recycle bag, and additional swag items and of course the now FAMOUS BBQ chicken dinner that is enjoyed by runners after the race. Plus..a ton of door prizes including GAS Cards!!

    ActNow Promotions Waiver: I understand running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am physically fit, mentally able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of the race officials relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify I am in good health and properly trained to run the distance of this race. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, all risks being known and being appreciated by me. I understand my entry fee is non-refundable. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and considering your accepting my entry into this running event, I, for myself and my estate, heirs, survivors, descendants and anyone on whose behalf I may act (including all minor children and charges and their estates heirs and survivors), do hereby permanently and forever completely give up, surrender, waive, release and terminate any and all claims or liabilities of any kind, arising in tort, contract or otherwise, against ActNow Promotions/Racing, and their respective officials, directors, trustees, agents, volunteers, employees, sponsors and affiliates arising from my participation in this event, including but not limited to claims arising out of past or future negligence or carelessness on their part. I hereby consent to the use of image in photographs, videos and other recordings for promotional purposes.Registration fees are nonrefundable.

    Event Details

    The Glade Top Trail Run is held in the beautiful Mark Twain National Forest near Brown Branch, MO. The trail headquarters on race day are at Wolf Junction at U.S. Forestry gravel roads 149 and 147.  It is the major fundraiser for the Pat Souder Henry Scholarship that is awarded to Ava High School seniors that are college bound.

    There are 3 distances to choose from:
    1 mile gravel road race.
    4.25 mile out and back trail run/hike
    10.25 mile loop trail run

    The trail is a two track that is maintained by the U.S. Forestry service and is clearly marked with pink and green tape through the entire course by the race committee.

    Early bird registration fees now until December 31, 2025:

    1 Mile - $12 (no shirt)
    4.25 - $25
    10.25 - $40

    Registration fees from January 1, 2026 to Race Day

    1 Mile - $15 (no shirt)
    4.25 - $30
    10.25 - $50

    Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup will be from 7:30am to 8:45am.

    After March 15th no guarantee of a shirt on race day. *You will still get a shirt, it just might be after the event.

    Directions for Glade Top Trail Run
    This is the BEST way to get to the trail run!
    GPS To Brown Branch, Mo.
    At Jct. 76 highway and W. Take 'W' then go 6/10 of a mile.
    Turn right on Caney Creek road.
    Go 5.5 miles until the pavement ends at Skyline Drive. Take a left onto Skyline Dr. Go 1/10 of a mile. Turn right at the Glade Top big wooden sign. Go 3 miles to Wolf Junction(trail headquarters). On race day, we will park you at Willie Lee campground which will be on your right just before you get to Wolf Jct.
