7th Annual Run for the Parks 5K
7th Annual Run for the Parks 5K hosted by the Aurora Trails Committee is set for Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 7:30am. - - NEW LOCATION - - WHITE PARK
All proceeds from the race will go toward funding the continued trail project.
The first phase of the trail—a one mile asphalt section within the boundaries of White Park---is complete! We have recently received another substantial grant so we will begin on Phase 2 of the project the summer of 2016. This phase will branch off of the existing trail in White Park, continuing west along the drainage ditch, with an underpass to cross Carnation St. and finishing by connecting to Pate Elementary School.

Entry Fee: $20 Pre-Registered/Kids 12 & Under $10 until 6/16/16
Race Day Registration: $25/Kids 12 & Under $15 - Race Day Registrations opens at 6:30AM
Shirts: T-Shirts to all Participants.
Post Race: Awards Ceremony, food & drinks!
Course: Mostly flat, walkers welcome.
*T-shirts to all participants. Entries MUST be received by 6/9/16 to guarantee size preference. Same day registrants may need to pick up their shirt at a later date.
Goody Bags to first 125 pre-registered entrants!
Awards & Medals
Awards: Overall Male & Female; Masters Male & Female; Finisher's Ribbons to all kids 12 & Under. Custom Medals (3 deep) for the following Age Categories: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
