Event Details
BIKE TO THE EDGE – A bike helmet is required for anyone on a bike or being pulled in a trailer!
Two events provide a biking opportunity for all ages. All bicyclists receive a t-shirt and Village Inn pancakes (served from 8-10 am at The Old Glass Place, 521 St. Louis St.) and are encouraged to visit
Festival on the Edge following their event.
Register by May 15 for early bird price and to guarantee shirt size.
• Show & Go bicyclists leave from The Old Glass Place, 521 St. Louis St., on their own between 9-10 am and end up at Festival on the Edge no later than 2 pm (arrive at OGP in time to eat pancakes before you leave!) This event features a recommended bike route to Commercial St. where businesses will punch each cyclists participation card. Print “Ride to the Edge” Maps Fully-punched cards are then turned in at the Festival by 2 pm for a chance to win prizes.
• Slow Roll begins at 10 am at the Jordan Valley Park Trailhead, Jefferson and East Trafficway. TO AVOID THE CONGESTION OF “RUN TO THE EDGE,” PLEASE REFER TO MAP FOR PARKING! Print “Ride to the Edge” Maps Arrive in time to park your car in the designated lot, walk to The Old Glass Place for pancakes, get bikes from your car and line up at the trailhead by 10 am.
This short route is designed for kiddos 8 years and under with parents (on bike or foot.) All bicyclists receive ribbons. Tricycles and training wheels are encouraged and this event features suggested turn-around points, based on a child’s age(s).
Packet Pick-up – The Downtown Church, 431 E. Walnut St., Friday, June 3, 11 am-6 pm and Saturday, June 4, 8-9 am.
