Illuminating the Darkness 5k Run/Walk is as special evening dedicated to raising awareness for suicide prevention. This 5K Timed Run and 1 Mile Walk will allow all participants to receive a unique t-shirt and glow gear. This is the areas coolest, most eye dazzling illuminated nighttime 5K with sounds of our Amazing DJ, glow Zone and Photo Booth! Also featured is a special salute to our fallen veterans, who lose their lives daily to suicide and an Illuminated memorial garden where participants can purchase a plastic lighted luminary for displaying the memorial garden at the event. The race course is exceptionally scenic with minimal hills.100% of the proceeds for this event will benefit NAMI SWMO and our efforts to help awareness about mental illness and suicide prevention.

Adult Pre Registration until September 12th $25
Child Pre Registration until September 12th $15

Adult Day of Registration September 13 to Race Day $30
Child Day of Registration September 13 to Race Day $20

Packet Pick up will be at the NAMI SWMO Location 1443 N Robberson Suite 408 on Friday September 15th from 11-6pm.

Race Day Registration: Sign in and Registration will start at 6pm with the Run/Walk starting at 7:30pm.

Purchase a luminary to be displayed at our memorial garden at the event. You can customize your luminary In Memory of with your loved ones name. These luminaries are Waterproof, Durable, and Reusable they are made from a sturdy polymer with UV inhibitors that is resistant to weather and the elements. Our Luminaries are tough enough to stand on and can be used season after season, year after year. Each luminary lantern is 9-inches tall, 6-inches wide and 4-inches deep and is yours to keep after the event!

NEW THIS YEAR! Safety light armbands! These glow in the dark armbands are perfect for your night time run and reusable! These bands will be available at packet pick up and during race day for just $10.00!
