National Running Day 5K
Celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of June, National Running Day celebrates the joys of running. On this day, people all over the United States, as well as the world, enjoy this day by participating in running events. If you are looking for a way to enjoy National Running Day, we have the event for you. This low cost, high value event is a great way for your family to celebrate health and support a local charity that helps our local first responders. In the weeks to come we will be releasing more information that will make this the premier National Running Day event in Southwest Missouri.
Proceeds from this event will benefit The Sunshine Brotherhood. The purpose of this foundation is to provide financial support, education on cancer prevention in the fire service, and to sustain an annual scholarship to Willard High School to a graduate pursuing a trade or public service career. Event Details
Entry Fee: $20 If you'd like your race packet (event shirt & bib) mailed to you before race day it's an additional $5
First 150 to register will receive a Run Local towel in their swag bag.
Race Day Registration: $25
Race day registration & packet pickup will start at 3:00 PM
Everyone is guaranteed a Bella Canvas Mint Green or Coral short sleeve t-shirt.
This unique race will be between 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM. To accommodate busy schedules, you can choose your official start time. Participants can start their race any time between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Your official start time will begin when you start the race. There will be two group/ clock starts at 5:15 PM and 6:30 PM for those who like the traditional race style with a group and clock. Participants must cross the finish line by 7:30 PM to be figured into the results. Awards ceremony will be at 7:45 PM. You are welcome to attend the awards ceremony in person or watch online.

Course is an out and back on the Frisco Highline trail, Willard MO.
Awards & Medals
Awards ceremony will be held at 7:45 PM. You can be in attendance while practicing social distancing or watch it on Facebook live.
