13th Annual Jason Pyrah Invitational

The Jason Pyrah Invitational is named in honor of 1987 Willard High School graduate Jason Pyrah. Jason still holds the Missouri state record, for all classes, in the 1600m (4:03.54) and was a 6–time state champion in track and field events ranging from 800m to 3200m. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Jason represented the United States in the 1500m at the Olympic Games in both 1996 (Atlanta, GA) and 2000 (Sydney, Australia), finishing 10th in 2000. Jason currently resides in Willard.
