The Habitat H ome Run will feature water zones along the race route where volunteers will help you cool down with water blasters, super soakers and other water toys ! When you finish the race, stick around for the after party and Springfiel d’s Largest Water Balloon Fight!

All Habita t Home Run race registrations include an after party pass. Don’t want to ru n? Friends and family who want to get wet without having to sweat can purch ase a pass to the After Party & Springfield’s Largest Water Balloon Fig ht which includes access to the after party festivities which includes live music, blasting fire hoses, face painting, dancing, water slides, cold ref reshments, an ice cream social station, inflatables, and of course, Springf ield’s Largest Water Balloon Fight! Register before August 1 to receive an event tech t-shirt and sunglasses!

All participants are encouraged to bring water blasters, super soakers, and other water toys . **We ask that you please bring 25 pre-filled balloons to contribute to th e water balloon fight!

How do I get to participate?

acket pick up you will get a wristband that designates you are a paid parti
cipant and are eligible to participate in the post run festivities.

Everyone that wants to be a part of the water balloon fight should bring a
25+ water balloons in plastic bag (this will not be returned, trash bags wo
rk great). **REMEMBER, the water balloon fight is a free-for-all, once it b
egins the balloons are a community pool that everyone can use!
When y
ou arrive on race day there will be a designated “Water balloon check in ar
ea” where you will drop of your balloons.
9:30am – Springfield’s Large
st Water Balloon Fight will begin. Announcements will be made for participa
nts to get ready for the event to begin.
A whistle will signify the st
art of the Springfield’s Largest Water Balloon Fight! Please do not start b
efore the whistle blows.
THERE IS NO WHERE FOR YOU TO FILL UP WATER B ALLOONS ON LOCATION!!!! PLEASE BRING BALLOONS ALREADY FILLED WITH WATER!
