Republic, MO - Friday, December 7, 2012, Republic Parks and Recreation hosted the 4th Annual Reindeer Run 5K at J.R. Martin Park in Republic, MO. It was a great turn out with over 300 participants!!

Joplin, MO - Thursday, November 22, 2012 Starlit Running Company hosted the 1st Annual Turkey Trot in downtown Joplin. The event was a hug success with over 600 participants. Although it was a little windy, the temperature was perfect!

Clever, MO - Saturday, November 17, 2012 was the 6th Annual Shelby's Run 5K/10K & 1 Mile Fun Run was held at Clever Middle School. Shelby was the granddaughter of Kathy Grover, the Assistant Superintendent of Clever R- V. On March 8, 2006 Shelby was diagnosed with a rare, inoperable and ultimately incurable brain tumor. She was a loving little girl who lived life to the fullest. On October 18, 2007 she entered the gate of heaven and is cancer free now. During her illness, Shelby received wonderful, loving care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All funds raised will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Shelby's memory.

Mt. Vernon, MO - HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!! Sunday, November 11, 2012, runners & walkers helped to support our Veterans by participating in the Annual Remembering Our Hero's 5K & 1 Mile March. Runners and walkers started off the morning battling the wind, but the majority were able to cross the finishline before the rain began.

Ozark, MO - Saturday, November 10, 2012 was the 2nd Annual St. Joseph the Worker 5K and 1 Mile Run at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Proceeds from this event benefited the St. Anne's Guild in their mission to provide faith building activities for the children of the community.

Joplin, MO - Saturday, October 27, 2012, Starlit Running Company hosted the Twilight Thriller 5K/10K and 1 Mile Fun Run along the Frisco Trail, benefiting family and/or individuals suffering from cancer. Participants, family members and spectators enjoyed the pre-race entertainment, a flash mob dance to the Thriller.
